Java : Scroll Applet

A fairly simple text manipulation applet. Everyone has them, they are some of the easier applets to make, and have a use on web pages immediately.

You can see a variation on this applet on the California Department of Education homepage, which is were I worked as a Web Developer. I wrote that one to display as many new items at the department in as little space.
