Useit.com by Jakob Nielsen
Jakob Nielsen is the premier web usability guru. He has written outstanding books on
usability and his web site contains tons of valuable information in his
bi-weekly alert boxes. When you want to learn more about usablity and the web,
go over his site and read everything you can. Some especially useful articles:
Web Pages That Suck . com
Vincent Flanders excellent site where you learn good Web design by looking at bad Web design.
Read the Daily Suckers column often and you will learn tons in the process. This site also has
numerous excellent links about creating and designing web sites. More specific links within this site:
Visibone Free Online Color Lab
Awesome online interactive tool for helping select web colors. Visibone also sells great reference cards and posters about HTML and web safe colors.
Also check out their page and links on effective design for color blindness.

World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
The W3C was founded in 1994 to develop common protocols for the evolution
of the World Wide Web. This is the organization that has drafted the HTML,CSS,XML, and other
web standards.

small who want to see better support for Web standards. Join up today!
Project Cool
Their motto is Anyone can build a great website! They give you the information you need to do it.
Check out their developer zone for reference, tutorials, and web development information.
Bobby
An HTML accessibility site checker from the Center of Applied Special Technologies. Bobby is a web-based tool that analyzes
web pages for their accessibility to people with disabilities.
